Co-Founder

Ivan co-founded Softline Limited in 1988 and listed the business on the JSE in 1987. In 2003, the business was sold to Sage Group PLC, a FTSE 100 listed company, where Ivan held a senior position as a member of the Sage global executive committee until his retirement in October 2016.

Ivan was awarded the Ernst and Young (EY) “South Africa’s Best Entrepreneur” in 1999/2000, and thereafter appointed to the panel of judges where he served as Chairperson.

Ivan actively chairs, advises and invests in a number of ventures. He continues to inspire and mentor, delivering lectures at numerous Business Schools, institutions and forums around the world.

Ivan overseas the strategic direction of TriColour and gives guidance to the executive management team.
